Japarov's representative explains why documents were re-submitted to Central Election Commission

AKIPRESS.COM - The authorized representative of presidential candidate Sadyr Japarov, Alexander Moshchin, told AKIpress why Sadyr Japarov recalled his documents and re-submitted them to the Central Election Commission.
"Sadyr Japarov has submitted incomplete package of documents to the Central Election Commission in the morning of November 14 to run for the President of Kyrgyzstan. Due to the tight schedule related to suspension and transfer of presidential and prime minister's duties, a representative submitted additional documents later that day (annexes to the statement) on behalf of the candidate on the basis of the proxy. However, a representative may submit documents for the presidential candidate to the Central Election Commission on the proxy basis only in two cases: 1) if a candidate is sick and 2) if a candidate is in the remand prison," Alexander Moshchin said.
"For this reason, in order to correct the made mistakes, the earlier submitted documents were recalled and Sadyr Japarov submitted a complete package of documents to run for the President as a self-nominated candidate in the evening," Moshchin explained.
The Central Election Commission said in early hours of November 15 Sadyr Japarov withdrew documents and re-submitted them.
