Valentina Shevchenko defends her UFC champion title

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian MMA fighter Valentina Shevchenko defended her UFC flyweight champion title.
Valentina Shevchenko beat Brazil's Jeniffer Maia by unanimous decision of judges at UFC 255 co-headliner, which took place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas on November 22.
Valentina defended her champion title fourth time. She won at UFC 231 event on 8 December 2018 when she defeated Poland's Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Then she defended her title having beat Jessica Eye on 8 June 2019, Liz Carmouche on 10 August 2019, Kathleen Chukagyan on 8 February 2020.
Antonina Shevchenko, Valentina's elder sister, fought during the same event. She beat Ariane Lipski with ground-and-pound attack in the second round.
