Foreigner caught at airport while trying to smuggle 5 falcons from Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A foreigner was detained at Manas Airport, who attempted to smuggle falcons, the Interior Ministry said today.
The police and security officers of Manas Airport detained a 25-year-old foreign national at the entrance of the cargo terminal with plastic bag with 5 birds inside.
The foreigner attempted to smuggle falcons, two of birds were dead.
The investigation was launched into destruction of animals. The foreigner was taken to the pre-trial detention facility.
