AKIPRESS.COM - Budget deficit in 2021 will be cut through increasing tax revenues by 25 billion soms, acting Prime Minister Artem Novikov said in response to MP Dastan Bekeshev's question on how government was planning to reduce deficit from 35 billion soms to 7 billion soms in 2021.
"The deficit will be reduced by increasing tax revenues, reviving trade and economic relations, export-import relations, by fiscal procedures," Novikov said.
Foreign aid of $774 million was pledged since the beginning of the year, $343 million have already been received, he added.
The rest of the foreign aid will arrive either by the end of 2020 or in 2021, he added.
