545 schools remain closed in Kyrgyzstan due to Covid-19

AKIPRESS.COM - 1,066 schools work in different modes in Kyrgyzstan, 545 schools remain closed due to Covid-19, Minister of Education and Science Almaz Beishenaliev said.
"Schools are reopening now depending upon Covid-19 situation in particular location. Schools are reopened in the areas where few Covid-19 daily cases are registered," the Minister explained.
"The Covid-19 situation remains tense in Bishkek, Osh, Aravan, schools remain closed there. In some schools, only first grade students have traditional classes, in other areas primary school students attend school, in some places students from grades 1 to 9 have traditional classes at school," the Minister said.
