Ban on mosque visits extended in Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Restrictions on visits to mosques in Turkmenistan previously introduced to prevent the spread of infectious diseases are being extended, Turkmenportal reports citing the Muslim Administration.
Mosques and pilgrimage sites in the country will remain closed until January 1, 2021.
Prayers in the mosques will sound five times a day.
Restrictions are imposed in accordance with the decision of the Emergency Commission of Turkmenistan to combat infectious diseases on August 26, 2020.
All mosques were closed on July 13 in Turkmenistan.
There are no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Turkmenistan.
