Kyrgyz Education Ministry delivers computers to school libraries to pilot textbook rental information system

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Education and Science delivered computer equipment to libraries of 30 schools and Issyk-Kul district education department, 10 Schools of Future in all regions of the country on December 1.
This equipment will be used in pilot of automated information system of textbook tracking.
Computer equipment sets included computers, multifunction printers with copier and scanner functions, QR code readers.
The equipment will be used by school librarians for the purpose of digitalization and automation of textbook rental system processes. This system functions in schools of Kyrgyzstan since 2018-2019 academic year.
The textbook information system will be launched in all schools of the country on the basis of the results of the pilot.
All school libraries will receive equipment since the beginning of the next year, the Ministry of Education said.
