AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov arrived in Tashkent with samples of Sputnik-V coronavirus vaccine.
The samples were handed over for trial necessary for registration and launch of industrial production of the coronavirus vaccine on the territory of Uzbekistan.
The volume of production of Sputnik-V vaccine will reach 2 million doses in near time, which will allow to start coronavirus vaccination of population.
Clinical trials of the vaccine are ongoing in Belarus, UAE, India, Venezuela.
The Russian Industry and Trade Ministry said effectiveness of Sputnik-V vaccine exceeds 95% as demonstrated during clinical trials with participation of 40,000 volunteers in Russia.
