Pakistani national tried to rob a bank in Bishkek with a toy gun

AKIPRESS.COM - A foreigner was detained in Bishkek on suspicion of bank robbery, police said on Dec 7.
The incident occurred on Nov 27 evening when an armed man broke into the bank, threatened with a gun speaking on a foreign language, and demanded the money.
The perpetrator failed to rob the bank and fled the scene, Police were called in, probe into robbery was launched.
Operatives of Leninsky police department detained the suspect, who turned out to be a citizen of Pakistan born in 1998. Two toy pistols were seized from him.
The foreigner was taken to the Bishkek temporary detention facility for one month.
Detainee's involvement in other similar crimes is being investigated.
