Citizen of Kyrgyzstan sentenced to 3.5 years in prison in Moscow for beating up his own son for refusing to do push-ups

AKIPRESS.COM - Court in Moscow sentenced a citizen of Kyrgyzstan to 3.5 years in prison for beating up his own son on camera, Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reported. Emilbek Junusov will serve his sentence in a penal colony.
He repented and apologized to his son and pleaded guilty.
A video showing a man beating his own son for refusing to do push-ups went viral on social networks in April 2020 and sparked a nationwide outcry in Kyrgyzstan.
The man turned out to be a 35-year-old native of the Ala-Buka district Emilbek Junusov. He was living in Moscow with his family since October 2019.
