All automated ballot boxes in working condition in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - All automated ballot boxes are in working condition, Central Election Commission Vice Chairman Abdyjapar Bekmatov said. There are 2,473 polling stations throughout Kyrgyzstan. The Central Election Commisison has 5,700 automated ballot boxes in total, he added.
"Two ballot boxes will suffice for each polling station. Besides, 800 boxes will be kept as reserve. They will be delivered to local election commission in case other boxes fail," Bekmatov explained.
Kyrgyzstan will have the snap presidential elections and referendum on presidential vs parliamentary systems on January 10, 2021.
Each polling station will have one ballot box for presidential elections and another for the referendum.
