Performance of school principals to be evaluated since February in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Evaluation of performance of school principals will begin since February 2021, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev said at the meeting with principals of schools and heads of local education departments of Osh region.
The evaluation will have 4 stages. The examinations are developed by the State Personnel Service. School principals should have an excellent knowledge of laws, Labor Code, since they manage schools and finances, hold tenders. They should also have knowledge of financial codes, the Education Minister said.
The first stage will be a competition, he added. The second stage will look at innovations and novelties introduced by a principal in school, as well as level of work with parents of students, performance of students in national admissions tests, olympiads, the Minister said.
