Next CIS summit set for Minsk in October 2021

AKIPRESS.COM - The meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in 2021 will be presided by Belarus and co-chaired by Uzbekistan. Such decision was made today at the virtual CIS summit chaired by Uzbekistan.
The next summit is scheduled for October 15, 2021 in Minsk.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev hoped that next year's meeting will be held offline.
CIS heads of state discussed cooperation, fight against coronavirus, and signed several documents, a joint statement on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the UN and joint statement on cooperation in ensuring international information security.
