Activists march in Bishkek in protest against air pollution

AKIPRESS.COM - A march for clean air was held today in Bishkek.
Activists marched from the railway station to Ala-Too square.
The goal of the march was to draw societal attention to problem of air pollution in Bishkek, to urge people not to burn sewing waste and tyres for heating.
Activists also demanded from the government to find solution of the problem, without postponing until next winter, to provide information on air quality in simple and clear language.
Use of fuel alternative to coal, planting more trees were suggested among other options.
