Health Minister Beishenaliev leaves meeting with hepatitis patients over discrepancies

AKIPRESS.COM - Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev today met with patients with various forms of hepatitis.
The patients voiced their problems.
"I have heard your problems. Now you should listen to me. I have been Health Minister 2 months only and many issues were resolved for this time. After disputes in Parliament, the issue on allocation of 10 million soms for patients with different forms of hepatitis is being resolved," the Minister siad.
"10 million soms is not enough," one of attendees of the meeting said.
The Minister responded no funding was provided at all before. Some 300 million soms is requested in addition, he said.
"We have asked allocation of 1.4 billion soms, but did not get a reply from you. Every time we ask for help, you just keep telling fairy tales," a woman present at the meeting said.
"Well then, find someone else who can resolve your problem. I have heard you," the Minister said and left the meeting.
