Constitutional convention to continue its work on draft of Constitution

AKIPRESS.COM - The draft of the Constitution is under development, constitutional convention chairman Bekbosun Borubashov told AKIpress on January 4.
The constitutional convention works as normally. It is unknown when the draft will be finalized.
When asked if changes are made in the draft in connection with the results of the upcoming referendum, Borubashov said it is not in competence of the constitutional convention.
"We need to continue our work on the draft of the Constitution," Borubashov added.
The constitutional convention was established on November 20 by the order of acting President Talant Mamytov. On December 11, the convention announced about completion of the first stage of its work and development of the draft of the Constitution.
