AKIPRESS.COM - More than 11,000 police officers will protect public order and safety during elections, Deputy Interior Minister Oktyabr Urmambetov told a press conference on January 6.
Police officers will be joined by security agents, he said.
The Deputy Interior Minister said more than 5,400 police officers will be stationed at 2,426 polling stations.
