Deputy PM Sabirov asks charity organizations to build schools and houses for poor instead of mosques in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of mosques should be stopped. It is better to build schools, kindergartens and houses instead, Deputy Prime Minister Ravshan Sabirov said in his contribution at the regional economic conference held in Osh region administration today.
Deputy Prime Minister Sabirov said charity foundations should better build schools and houses for vulnerable citizens.
"I attended the inauguration ceremony of the social village in Alamedin. Charity foundations built lots of mosques there. I ordered to stop this practice. I suggest to build schools, kindergartens and houses for poor families instead," Sabirov said.
"People will be grateful. Charity organizations, Qatar Charity and other foundations among them, will try to build houses, schools and kindergartens. One foundation promised to build 2,500 apartments," Sabirov added.
"Such facilities should be better built in the regions of Kyrgyzstan than in Bishkek," he stressed.
