Uzbekistan reported 73 new cases of coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - In the past 24 hours, Uzbekistan reported 73 new cases of coronavirus infection bringing the tally to 77,485, said the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan on Jan 8. New cases of coronavirus were confirmed in 13 regions of the country.
1 coronavirus patient died on January 7 bringing death toll to 616.
116 patients recovered from coronavirus during the day bringing the total recoveries to 75,875 and recovery rate to 98%.
994 patients are being treated in medical facilities across the country, 157 of them are in serious condition. The condition of 29 patients is assessed as extremely serious.
