Early voting outside polling stations in progess in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Early voting in the snap presidential elections and the referendum outside polling stations has started at 8.00 a.m. on January 9 in Kyrgyzstan.
21,360 applications for early voting were received in total, the Central Election Commission said.
According to the effective legislation, citizens may vote outside polling stations if they are included into the voter list but can't visit polling stations due to health condition, if they stay in hospitals, held in custody, stay in remote parts of country.
In exceptional cases upon approval of the Central Election Commission servicemen of remote military units, police officers working on day of vote, workers of enterprises with uninterrupted cycle of production, voters placed under house arrest may vote early.
