The Commission tested automated ballot box and transmission of signals on January 6.
The speed of transmission of data was increased to 95% during testing.
11 polling stations lie in remote parts of the country having no access to Internet. These are border outposts in Enilchek village, Aksuu district and Zardaly village of Batke region. Such remote areas also exist in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region, Kara-Kulja and Nookat districts of Osh region.
The voting results from those areas will be passed after transportation of the automated ballot boxes to the closest polling stations. The voting results will be then transmitted to the server of the Central Election Commission.
