Polling stations close in 12 regions of Kazakhstan, voter turnout in parliamentary elections makes 63.1% as of 8.00 p.m.

AKIPRESS.COM - The voter turnout in the Mazhlis and local council elections has made 63.1% as of 8.00 p.m., Central Election Commisison Secretary Sabila Mustafina said.
The lowest voter turnout is reported in Almaty - 30.3%.
Polling stations have closed in 12 regions of Kazakhstan at 8.00 p.m., Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Mangistau region will finish voting at 9.00 p.m. Nur-Sultan time due to 1-hour time difference.
Voter turnout by regions:
North Kazakhstan region - 75.5%;
Almaty region - 73.5%;
Akmola region - 72.8%;
Kyzylorda region - 72.7%;
East Kazakhstan region - 72.4%;
Jambyl region - 72.2%;
Kostanai region - 71.8%;
Pavlodar region - 71.3%;
Karaganda region - 70.7%;
Turkestan region - 65.8%;
West Kazakhstan region - 61.5%;
Aktobe region - 57.7%;
Shymkent - 56.5%;
Atyrau region - 55.5%;
Manistau region - 54%;
Nur-Sultan - 45.1%;
Almaty - 30.3%.
