Referendum 2021 results: Kyrgyzstanis voted for presidential system of government

AKIPRESS.COM - The final results of the referendum on choosing the system of government in Kyrgyzstan appeared in the election information system after the manual count of the votes.
1,140,420 voters or 81.44% voted for presidential system.
152,846 or 10.92% voted for the parliamentary system.
62,547 or 4.47% were against both systems.
A total of 3,563,574 people were registered to vote, 1,400,280 (39.29%) of them received ballots on election day.
The number of valid ballots was 1,350,576 and the number of invalid ballots was 49,704.
The Central Election Commission must now approve the voting results at its meeting.
