825,528 passports issued in 2020 in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Personification Center Infocom issued 825,528 passports in 2020.
This figure includes all types of passports: international travel, diplomatic, official passports, eID cards of 2017 series.
The number of issues passports in Kyrgyzstan declined last year compared to previous years.
Some 901,000 passports were issued in 2017.
Some 916,000 passports were issued in 2018, over 950,000 passports were issued in 2019.
Over 1.95 million electronic ID cards were issued in Kyrgyzstan since May 2017.
The millionth biometric passport in Kyrgyzstan was issued on January 14, 2019.
Two millionth electronic ID card is expected to be issued in February 2021.
