Uzbekistan to raise salaries, benefits since Feb 1

AKIPRESS.COM - Salaries of workers of publicly financed organizations and stipends will be increased 1.1 times since February 1 in Uzbekistan.
According to the Pension Fund, the minimum salary is approved in the amount of 747,300 soums (around $70) a month. The basic salary is approved in the amount of 245,000 soums ($23).
Since February 1, child benefits will make $40, benefits for poor families will make $30-65.
One-off financial assistance to poor families in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region was increased to around $100.
Pensions to retired citizens with honorary titles will be increased 1.1 times.
