COVID-19 frontliners paid 179.6 million soms in compensations for December 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The Compulsory Health Insurance Fund allocated 179,631,800 soms for payment of compensations to medical workers on COVID-19 frontline in December 2020.
2,192 doctors worked in COVID-19 red zones in December 2020. The sum of compensations reached 52,847,585 soms.
Compensations paid to 3,949 in COVID-19 red zones totaled 72,413,054 soms.
The number of junior medical personnel in COVID-19 red zones reached 3,552. The size of compensations to them amounted to 54,371,161 soms.
The compensations are paid on the basis of estimations provided by each hospital.
