President's press secretary comments on use of artillery on occasion of Japarov's inauguration

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz President's press secretary Galina Baiterek commented on use of artillery at the ceremony of presidential inauguration.
"The inauguration ceremony is a state-level event. Assuming the presidential office, the President becomes Chief Commander of Armed Forces of the country. Use of artillery is one of attributes of inauguration and a standard practice," she said.
"This won't require additional costs, since artillery squads upgrade field combat training on a daily basis. According to military training plan, artillerists practice regularly. So, this would not require additional costs," Galina Baiterek said.
It was reported earlier that artillery equipment will be brought to Dair Asanov Park in Bishkek on January 25 as part of preparations for the presidential inauguration.
