Kyrgyzstan to receive 504,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine in March - Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan had the second coronavirus wave in October-December, acting Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said at the meeting of the Constitutional Legislation Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan during consideration of a new structure of the next government presented by candidate for Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov.
"We are preparing for emergence of a new variant of COVID-19. The protocol was already developed. The preparations for the next possible coronavirus wave are in progress," Minister Beishenaliev said.
"We will receive 504,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine in March through COVAX program," Minister Beishenaliev said.
