Senior students resume on-campus classes in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 2,152 schools were closed in Kyrgyzstan upon oubtreak of coronavirus infection. Students studied remotely, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev said at the meeting of the Constitutional Legislation Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on February 2.
The schools resumed work since February 1. In some areas students of grades 1, 4, 9, 11 resumed offline classes, the rest students continue online classes.
Senior students, Master's degree program students, medical and technical students resumed on-campus classes.
The rest university students study online, Minister Beishenaliev said.
1,617 kindergartens were closed due to pandemic. 1,132 kindergartens reopened. 485 kindergartens still remain closed.
