Kyrgyz Health Ministry receives proposal on 504,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan received the proposal from the World Health Organization on delivery of 504,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine through COVAX program, Health Ministry's representative Ainura Akmatova told a briefing today.
According to this offer, up to 40% of vaccines may be delivered in the first quarter and 60% in the second quarter, she said.
"As announced earlier by the Ministry of Health, 20% of population of Kyrgyzstan will be vaccinated through COVAX program," Ainura Akmatova said.
