AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan Abdul Razak Dawood on February 2.
The discussions focused on trans-Afghanistan railway, the Uzbek president's press service reported.
Pakistan supports the initiative of Uzbekistan to build the railway to Peshawar through Afghanistan, Abdul Razak Dawood said.
The agreement was reached on consideration of development of ground and air freight transportation, preparation of the agreement on preferential trade, exchange of experience in customs, intensification of business dialogue and holding business events.
