Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to receive AstaZeneca coronavirus vaccines

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 2 billion doses of coronavirus vaccines will be distributed globally until the end of 2021 through COVAX program, including 1.3 billion doses will be distributed among low income countries, UN News Center said.
The vaccine deliveris will start since late February 2021.
The following former Soviet Union republics will receive AstaZeneca coronavirus vaccines through COVAX program:
Azerbaijan - 506,000 doses
Armenia - 146,000 doses
Georgia - 185,000 doses
Kyrgyzstan - 504,000 doses
Moldova - 156,000 doses
Ukraine - 2.2 million doses
Uzbekistan - 2.6 million doses.
Besides, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will also receive Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines in the amount of 29,000 doses, 25,000 doses and 117,000 doses respectively.
