Kyrgyz Republic's GDP expected to contract by 10.0% in 2020 and grow by 4.0% in 2021: ADB

AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyz Republic's GDP is expected to contract by 10.0% in 2020 and grow by 4.0% in 2021, according to the Asian Development Bank's outlook.
This forecast is lower than the forecast for three neighboring Central Asian countries - Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, but higher than Kazakhstan's forecast.
The highest GDP growth rate is expected in Uzbekistan (6.5%) followed by Tajikistan (6%) and Turkmenistan (5.8%).
The lowest growth rate is predicted in Kazakhstan - 2.8%.
