EU, Uzbekistan hold Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement talks

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan and the European Union today will beging the 7th round of virtual talks on an Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA) within the framework of a working group on trade issues. The talks will last until February 12, UzA reported.
The event will be co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Badriddin Abidov and Acting Head of the Unit of Southern Neighbors, Middle East, Turkey, Russia and Central Asia of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade, Timo Hammaren.
Representatives of various ministries and agencies of the country, as well as European Union institutions, will also take part in the negotiations.
The parties will discuss the sections of the draft agreement on trade issues.
