AKIPRESS.COM - In the framework of measures taken to crack down on sustained corrupt practices in the field of architectural and construction supervision, the anti-corruption service of the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic revealed regular cases of construction of apartment buildings without proper urban planning and authorization documents. Investigation is under way, following the results of which the officials and representatives of the construction companies engaged in unlawful activities will be given a legal assessment.
Within the framework of pre-trial proceedings, the illegally constructed objects have been disconnected from the engineering networks leading to the suspension of construction works.
In accordance with the law, the relevant lawsuits have been filed with the judicial authorities to demolish the illegally built objects, as well as to withdraw the licenses for construction and assembly works from companies engaged in illegal construction in the territory of Bishkek.
