Turkmenistan to buy passenger buses with GPS/Glonass system

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on development of transport complex on February 6, state news agency TDH reported.
Türkmenawtoulaglary Chairman Guvanchmyrat Akmammedov reported about the outcomes of work for the past 2020 and the plans for 2021.
The freight transportation plan was met at 104.5%, the plan for passenger transportation was achieved at 100.1% in 2020.
The President tasked Türkmenawtoulaglary to buy medium-sized and small buses with payment card terminals and GPS/Glonass systems.
The President also demanded to ramp up construction of bus stations in Balkan Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary provinces.
