Stadium planned on site of Ak-Kula racetrack in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek mayor's office plans to relocate the Ak-Kula horse racetrack outside the city into the territory of Sokuluk district, said deputy mayor Jamalbek Yrsaliev.
The project to build a stadium at this site is considered, he said.
FIFA wanted to allocate $12 million and asked for the land, he explained.
"The racetrack will be relocated outside the city to further build a good township on this site. The issue is decided by the government," he said.
