Mongolia reported 40 new cases of coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia reported 40 new cases of coronavirus after testing 30,468 people nationwide within the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Feb 12. While one of the new cases was detected from a passenger that arrived on the charter flight en route Tokyo-Ulaanbaatar, the rest were confirmed among the close contacts of previously confirmed cases.
As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 2,247, with 1,640 recoveries. 22 people recovered from the coronavirus in 24 hours.
582 patients are currently being treated at medical facilities, 8 are in serious condition and 1 is in critical condition.
