Jorobai Shergazyev performs duties of Mufti of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Mufti's duties are performed by Deputy Mufti Jorobai ajy Shargazyev in accordance with the charter of the Central Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
Another Deputy Mufti Kadyr Malikov temporarily relinquished his duties for family reasons.
The Council of Ulemmas accepted resignation of Mufti Maksatbek Toktomushev on February 11. The Mufti resigned after financial violations were disclosed in the Central Administration of Muslims when the money of pilgrims provided for hajj was provided as loans to private financial institutions and montly profit was obtained by the leadership of the Central Administration.
