Kyrgyzstan had highest consumer inflation among Eurasian Economic Union in January 2021

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan had the highest consumer inflation (10.1%) among the Eurasian Economic Union countries in January 2021 compared with January 2020, said the National Statistics Committee. Prices and tariffs for food products (including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) in Kyrgyzstan increased by 16.2% in January 2021 compared to January 2020.
Belarus registered the highest increase in service prices by 8% and non-food goods by 8.7% among the EAEU member states.
