Inspector of Accounts Chamber detained for extortion of bribery

AKIPRESS.COM - The State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan has detained a senior inspector of the territorial division of the Accounts Chamber in the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions for extortion and taking bribes.
The suspect audited the budget execution in three rural districts of the At-Bashy district and received 60 000 soms by extortion from the head of one of the rural districts of the At-Bashy district of Naryn region in exchange for a positive report on the results of the audit.
The detained was placed in the Naryn temporary detention facility.
