Uzbekistan to vaccinate over 4 million against COVID-19 before year-end

AKIPRESS.COM - The number of people in priority groups for vaccination against coronavirus infection makes 4,112,668 people. They include 1,085,797 people aged between 65 and 74 years; 388,686 people aged between 75 and 84 years; 139,280 people above 75 years.
Also, 447,976 medical workers, 888,190 people with chronic diseases, 689,383 school teachers, 223,426 kindergarten teachers, 180,000 servicemen and law enforcers will be vaccinated first, according to the Service of Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being and Public Health.
3,138 vaccination points, 862 mobile teams were set up.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced start of vaccination against COVID-19 during a videoconference on February 10.
