Forex reserves of Uzbekistan drop for $700 million

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan amounted to $34.319 billion as of February 1. This is for $700 million less than in the report of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan as of January 1, 2021.
The Central Bank said forex reserves grew for 0.3 million ounces (9 tons) despite reduction of assets in foreign currencies for $700 million.
As of January 1, 2020, the international reserves of Uzbekistan exceeded $29.172 billion.
As of January 1, 2021, the international reserves reached $34.904 billion.
