AKIPRESS.COM - Sugar prices are rising because the Kayindy Kant sugar plant has almost run out of all the raw materials, said Director of the State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation Shukhrat Sabirov. "If sugar is imported, it might make prices go down a little bit. But this is an exchange commodity, big changes should not be expected," he said.
In February, compared to January, flour has fallen in price by 0.3 soms.
"Now there is no shortage of flour and flour prices are stable. Buckwheat and rice prices also remain stable. The price of eggs is not changing for a month, but by spring it might start to get cheaper," he added.
