AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan has finished construction of the medical complex in Kubodien, south of Tajikistan. Construction began in the second half of 2018.
In response to request of Tajik authorities, Uzbekistan erected the sorting facility for patients with COVID-19.
The equipment at the sorting facility allows to detect coronavirus infection for the shortest period of time and then forward patients to respective hospitals for further treatment.
Construction of the medical complex is one of projects of Uzbekistan approved following visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Dushanbe in March 2018.
Uzbekistan also built a school in Spitamen district of Sughd region in September 2020.
Tajikistan announced construction of a school in Samarkand and a kindergarten in Ferghana region. The respective executive order was signed by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in March 2018.
