Parliament Speaker visits National Oncology and Hematology Center

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament Speaker Talant Mamytov visited the National Oncology and Hematology Center on March 9 and talked to patients.
The Speaker also visited the site of construction of a new building of the Center.
The Parliament will continue providing all possible support to citizens with serious diseases, including through improvement of the regulatory framework, Speaker Mamytov said. The Speaker gave relevant tasks to the social, education, science, culture and health department.
Construction of the new building was halted 3 years ago. Speaker Mamytov instructed the government to resume the process of construction.
The Speaker also inspected the linear accelerator, which was recently installed in the Oncology and Hematology Center. He said the government should make all possible efforts to provide hospitals with modern equipment and tools for successful treatment of patients.
Patients expressed concerns over soared prices for medications, airfare for domestuc flights. Parents of children with cancer asked to create conditions necessary for their stay in hospital with their children.
The Parliament Speaker promised control will be assumed over all raised issues, meetings will be held with heads of line agencies to tackle existing problems.
