Ban on rallies in Bishkek center cancelled

AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek city court reversed the decision of the first instance court to ban rallies and peaceful assemblies in the center of Bishkek on March 10. Lawyer Yevgenia Krapivina said the Pervomaisky district court has previously restricted any kind of meetings and peaceful gatherings on Ala-Too square, Old Square, Erkindik Boulevard, parks and squares, where the citizens and guests of the capital spend their leisure time.
The 8/365 group challenged that decision and the motion was grant in their favor.
