Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to cooperate in health care sector modernization and exchange of specialists

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministers of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed the agreement of cooperation in health care sector during state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Uzbekistan.
The countries will cooperate in line with the national legislation and undertaken international commitments.
Cooperation will be maintained in the following spheres: exchange of information, including in immunization programs, pandemic response; child and maternal health care; health care sector modernization; investment projects; exchange of specialists; medical pre- and in-service training; exchanges in sanitary and epidemiological well-being of population and health care management system; development of fundamental and applied scientific researches in clinical and preventive medicine; medical statistics; other areas of cooperation.
The agreement enters into force since its signing and will be effective for 5 years.
