AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan aims to vaccinate 70% of country population against coronavirus infection, National Immunization Center Director Gulbara Ishenapysova told a press conference on March 18.
The target group of vaccination will include medical workers, teachers, police officers, border guards, customs officers, people with chronic diseases (cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, diabetes), people above 65 years.
Vaccination will be carried out in 3 stages.
Kyrgyzstan hopes to vaccinate 20% of population - 1.3 million people - with vaccines obtained through COVAX program. The country expected arrival of vaccines through this program in early April.
