AKIPRESS.COM - Four pharmaceutical companies in Kyrgyzstan were fined for charging too high prices for medicines, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said today.
Prices in drug stores are checked by relevant specialists regularly, he added.
"We are holding talks with pharmaceutical companies in order to regulate prices for medicines," he said.
"We have warned 4 companies and fined them for 112,000 soms," the Minister said.
In case the overpricing is revealed repeatedly, the licenses of these companies will be invalidated, the Minister said.
